CS4ALL is open in different ways depending on whether you want to join the safe-space mailing lists or participate in the broader public events.
To subscribe manually, send an email to cs4all-join@list.ku.dk with Subscribe as the subject line. The Join us button does this automatically in your email app.
Who can join
Women and other gender minorities
All employees and students at DIKU who are women or part of another gender minority in computer science can take part in all CS4ALL initiatives, including both mailing lists and events.
Allies and interested participants
People who are not themselves part of a gender minority are still welcome at the open CS4ALL events, where the goal is to involve the wider department in conversations and change.

For DIKU employees and students with a KU email address who are part of underrepresented genders in CS.
Students-only list
For students in DIKU study programmes who are part of underrepresented genders in CS and want a dedicated student list.
Participation expectations
- You need a KU email address tied to DIKU as an employee and/or student, depending on the list.
- The mailing lists are intended for underrepresented genders in computer science, including women, non-binary, and transgender participants.
- Members are expected to follow the DIKU Code of Conduct and treat one another with respect.
What to expect at events
DIKU describes CS4ALL events as a mix of debates, talks, networking, and informal gatherings, often with free food and drinks. Public events are also a way for the wider department to contribute ideas and support gender minorities in computing.
